This course is a practical introduction to Old Testament exegesis. We will discuss a number of different aspects of Old Testament exegesis, including textual criticism, translations, historical-cultural and literary contexts, word studies, grammar, secondary literature, outlining, theology, and application. You will apply each of these methods to your assigned passage, eventually synthesizing the material into an exegetical paper.
